Winery La Tanna
Our story.
Passion and love...
Our establishment’s origins date back to the 1960s, when my parents left the Abruzzi region of Italy and decided to settle in this area of Tuscany to devote themselves to farming, primarily viticulture.
The “La Tanna” estate is located in the rolling hills of the northern part of Livorno Province, in the township of Collesalvetti, just a few kilometers from the sea.
In recent years, the enterprise has concentrated increasingly on winemaking: new vineyards have been planted and new techniques adopted.
We currently grow the varieties of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Syrah for our reds, and Fiano, Viogner and Vermentino for our whites.
Another distinctive feature of the Tuscan landscape are the ubiquitous olive groves. We cultivate the much appreciated Frantoiano, Leccino, Moraiolo and Maurino varieties to obtain a fine olive oil that is fruity and delicate on the palate.
