This cuvèe is a special blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes obtained from separate harvests. After long fermentation in steel vats, it is then barricato for 12 months in small French oak casks, and finally bottle-refined for about six months. It presents a deep, ruby red colour tending towards purple and a complex bouquet with notes of tobacco and spices. The sip is complex with a slight acid streak that ensures long ageing.
We recommend it as accompaniment to the finest Italian and international dishes.
